A Friend's Visit
Our friend Godfrey from Rwanda is currently working at a dairy farm in Carlisle. He's been there for five months and we really miss him. A couple of weeks ago, he spent his weekend off up in Glasgow visiting friends and worshipping at Bishopbriggs Community Church. It was great to see him. Niamh was very happy to have Godfrey back in the house for a bit, she showed him her new books and toddle truck.

Thanks for the great pictures! The photos also show a very gentle side of Godfrey ... both holding Niamh and then showing her the book. If Godfrey is still close by, please send my greeting!
Godfrey is doing well. He's now working on a dairy farm in outside Carlisle in England (near the Lake District), it's only about two hours away so he comes back up to Glasgow when he has time off. It's hard work and the hours are hard, but after a year of experience Godfrey hopes to move to a smaller farm with better working conditions. Emma and I have yet to visit him on the farm, but some other people from Bishopbriggs Community Church have been to see him when passing through Cumbria.
