St Rollox & Community Mission
There’s a good article on the Community Mission website about the work at St Rollox. There’s a bit about an “Arabic-speaking” person who arrived at the project; a prize for the first person who can guess who this is…
Community Mission was formed as a partnership between Tearfund and Livability that helps to equip and support churches in mission to their communities. There are some brilliant resources on this site, especially for the British urban context (e.g. they have a section on working with funding while maintaining a Christian distinctive). Community Mission hopes to:
> Promote integrated theology
> Provide practical guidance and support
> Share real stories that inspire and envision
In other words: they inform, equip, and network churches and groups involved in, and wanting to get involved in, transformational mission. The site is well worth a browse.
