Remembrance Sunday


Today is Rememberance Sunday. For those of you not in the UK, The Royal British Legion website describes it as:

…the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. On this day people across the nation pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave Service men and women.

The Royal British Legion have released a charity single like no other into the charts: a track of two minutes complete silence as an act of remembrance. The single may not make it to #1, but it’s an impressive and refreshingly counter-cultural initiative to halt the incessant noise for space to remember.

It’s only £1 to download the track (click the pickture below), and goes to a very worthy cause.
